An integral part of the ST series spectrometers, SUMMIT-EPR provides a WINDOWS based acquisition and analysis environment. Complete control of all experimental parameters is provided by pull-down menus and associated dialog boxes. An intuitive, mouse-driven graphical user interface is provided for the acquisition and analysis of EPR spectra. Powerful post-processing algorithms such as baseline correction, scaling, filtering, algebraic manipulation, integration and differentiation, spin concentration, and various display options are only a mouse click away. File transfers and peripheral support are greatly enhanced with the use of WINDOWS based standards and protocols.

All relevant spectrometer parameters are contained in a single dialog box for quick access and review. The scan range, scan time, microwave bridge parameters, and receiver configuration can be quickly reviewed and modified as required. Multiple scans can be collected and averaged to extract very weak signals.

Multiple spectra can be simultaneously displayed and manipulated in the application window. Any of the spectra or resultant manipulations can be minimized to an icon and later redisplayed or saved to disk as the need arises. All relevant spectrum parameters as well as any user comments are automatically saved with each spectrum. There are a variety of display options as well as a tabular numerical listing for the acquired spectra. Data can be exchanged from the appliction window to other Windows based applications via the Clipboard or an ASCII data transfer.
